The staff demonstrated exceptional kindness and made every effort to ensure our comfort during a difficult time. The standard guest room offered a lovely river view and all the necessary amenities, but the interior felt a bit worn, which was surprising for a hotel of this caliber. Additionally, the breakfast area had issues with table stability, yet the overall dining experience was satisfactory without any notable highlights.

Perfect riverside stay with excellent amenities
We had a wonderful time enjoying the spacious Superior Room with stunning views of the river. The breakfast was a highlight, featuring freshly made omelets and a delightful variety of pastries, making it hard to choose what to eat first! The location was convenient, just a short walk from vibrant restaurants and attractions. However, the parking fee could be a bit more reasonable. it's around €20 per night, which adds up during longer stays.

The hotel staff greeted me with genuine warmth upon arrival. My room had a lovely view of the river, and even though it’s winter, I could imagine how gorgeous it would be in summer. The in-room Chromecast feature impressed me. I could stream my favorite shows easily. Breakfast offered a wide variety with fresh options, but the dining area felt disorganized. I waited at least 10 minutes just to figure out how to get a coffee. My room had a safe that fit my laptop perfectly. However, I faced issues with housekeeping because I returned to find my room had not been cleaned properly. The shower's design created a mess, as the water spread outside the shower area. I appreciated how accommodating the front desk was when I raised concerns, but a lack of proactive housekeeping impacted my overall comfort. The hotel's location was central, making it easy to explore Turku’s nearby attractions, which I enjoyed. I'd definitely consider returning, hoping for improvements in housekeeping.
